How to unload a powder tanker?
The selection of the size and position of the discharge port is key to improve the bulk cement conveying vehicle. Therefore, the use of mobile discharge pipe can effectively improve the discharge speed and reduce the waste rate.
How to operate a powder tanker?
Securely connect the hot air hose to the tanker truck and the discharge hose to the silo.
2. Open the boost valve, top air and rear aeration valve on the tanker (open 2 aeration valves if no top air is installed).
3. Close the air release valve and the discharge valves.
4. Engage the PTO and activate the blower/compressor at idle, blowing air into the silo. This ensures that the blower/compressor does not start under load.
5. Increase truck RPM to the correct speed for blower/compressor operation. Check the blower/compressor: Does the unit run smoothly? Does the oil pressure gauge read correctly? No mechanical noises? Does the air cleaner restriction gauge read correctly? No air leaks? No loose parts?
6. Close the boost valve to pressurize the tanker to safe working pressure for the tanker or silo. Open the boost valve, then quickly open the rear discharge valve to begin discharging product into the silo.
8. While unloading, monitor the tanker pressure making sure it remains below the maximum. If the tanker pressure is too high, open the boost valve. If the tanker pressure is too low, close the boost valve slightly.
9. When the pressure in the tanker drops rapidly, close the discharge valve.
10. Open the aeration valve on the next cone, close the rear aeration and impulse valves to build pressure in the tanker. (Repeat steps 7 and 10 until the tanker is empty).
11. When discharge into the silo is complete, clean any remaining product from each cone.
12. Drain remaining pressure from the tanker; either at the silo or use the tanker's discharge valve.
13. Open the boost valve, reduce the truck rpm to idle, blowing air into the silo to cool the blower/compressor and disengage the PTO. This ensures that the blower/compressor does not shut down under load.
14. Close the discharge valves, leave the impulse valve and the air discharge valve on the tanker open ready for the next load. Disconnect the hot air hose from the tanker if necessary.
Where can I take my tanker truck to remove the lime scale from the outside?
Before unloading, the lime tanker should be parked on a flat unloading site. Cement (lime) should not be loaded or unloaded outdoors on rainy days. Regularly inspect and confirm that the inlet cover is tightly closed, and do not allow water or moist air to enter the tank.
How to pump fly ash from a tanker truck?
Do not load or unload cement (fly ash) outdoors on rainy days. Regularly check and confirm that the inlet lid is tightly closed, and do not allow water or moist air to enter the tank. Before discharging fly ash from the tank truck, the tank vehicle should be parked on a flat unloading site, the discharge pipe should be installed. In addition, the discharge valve, butterfly valve and pressure relief ball valve should be closed, the secondary air pipe should be opened, and the compressed air should also be connected to ensure that the air compressor is in no-load condition.
